   Primaloft Eco  is considered the most popular synthetic insulation material available (many companies have their own, equally good ones). It was developed at the request of the US Department of Defense. It consists of polyester fibers. Here, perhaps the biggest advantage of this fabric is that even when wet, Primaloft insulates (although these properties decrease (even by about 50%), they are still better than down).
